About

WHO I AM

First and foremost, I’m an enthusiastic animal lover and the proud mommy of two feline girls. But if you’re here, you’re probably more interested in learning who I am professionally, so here you go.

I’m a freelance designer residing in the Washington, D.C. metro area and I only work from home. I’ve been working as a graphic designer since 2008 with successful side gigs as a writer and photographer. I hold a degree in Graphic Design (print) and one in Interactive Design from Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria campus, as well as a degree in Translation from Milan, Italy.

My design style is clean, fresh, modern yet timeless, elegant and sophisticated with a lot of white/negative space, splashes of color and just the right amount of whimsy when appropriate.

My goal is to make a difference in the world (or at least try!) through compelling work that raises awareness on social justice, human and civil rights, animal rights, environmental issues or that promotes the arts and education.

While I have been fortunate enough to work with some great clients thus far, I’m still looking for my dream gig — doing graphic design for an animal welfare or rescue organization or a business in the pet industry!
